ARDS-Instructor.co.uk

ARDS-Instructor.co.uk provides information about Association of Racing Driver's Schools / Motor Sport Association Approved, Licensed Instructors in the UK. The site includes Instructor profiles with provision for contacting the Instructors. ARDS Insructors are experienced racing drivers who are both licensed and approved jointly by the Association of Racing Drivers Schools and the RAC Motor Sports Association to teach circuit and racing driving techniques and skills on motor racing circuits and at other venues. Instructors may be employed by racing schools to work on 'experience' and corporate days, and racing and car control courses, as well as work indepedently on track days either for themselves or for the track day companies. In their Code of Practice the ATDO (Association of Track Day Organisers) strongly reccomends the use of 'only' ARDS or otherwise approved Instructors.

The ARDS Instructor web site will provide a resource for anyone with any interest in ARDS Instructors, whether it be a track day customer seeking performance driving tuition, anyone interested in getting their first competion licence to go racing, a competitor requiring advanced racing driver coaching, a race circuit or track day operator in need of instructors or individuals wanting information on how to become and ARDS Instructor.

Browser issues! Several people have been in contact saying they have had problems navigating parts of the site when attempting register or log in, and when trying to update profiles. This is an issue with Internet Explorer going into a quirks mode because it doesn't like some of the scripts used in the site. The issue is non existent in Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox and we recommend using one of these browsers in any case, but particularly to view this website!
